The Bruno's Have 2 Wonderful Days at NJ Motorsports Park.......

As I stated at the last meeting.....Wed & Thursday Aug 26th and 27th my son and I participated in a Drivers Education event at Thunderbolt Raceway in the NJ Motorsports Park in Millville, NJ. We had a fantastic time. We had 8 driving sessions each of 20-30 minutes in length on the track. We attended several drivers education classes during the 2 days taught by a gentleman with over 5000 laps on the track.
All in all, we not only had a wonderful time driving our cars hard on the track, but we also learned a ton about the dynamics of our cars, the track, our driving skills and how to make them better. There is no doubt in my mind that we are both better drivers for the experience.

My son Michael bested his first lap on the track by 21.5 seconds with his last lap of the event......and his 1996 V6 Mustang held up well amongst the miriad of cars participating.....many of which were race prepared cars running with us to practice for the weekend races scheduled to take place at the track this Saturday and Sunday..........

My Shelby GT didnt dissappoint either.....it was a wonderful opportunity and my first chance to run my car on a track.
The wonderful people we met and the bench racing that ensued inbetween sessions was a great compliment to the 2 day experience as well.
